About Us

COOL is the first on-demand ride-pooling service in Malta, offering passengers the chance to share their ride with fellow travellers heading in the same direction. This saves time in pickups and drop-offs, ensuring that trip times are comparable to those of standard cabs, even when sharing with multiple passengers. COOL also forms part of Debono Group, the sole representative of Toyota Motor Corporation in Malta.

Cool is the very first, ride-pooling service in Malta - aggregating multiple passengers heading in the same direction. Our vision is to improve traffic congestion by getting people out of personal vehicles and opting for a more convenient, affordable and time- saving service. Somewhere between a private cab service and public transport, it offers the public the possibility to share their rides, whilst saving costs and contributing to a better environment. And we do this by offering cheap rides at fixed prices.  

 

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to help us shape the market perception of Cool and drive the company's growth. The Marketing Manager will report to the CEO and will be responsible for driving marketing strategy development and execution. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Generate insights on customer needs; understand the emotional and rational triggers that can change people’s behaviour and set us apart in a competitive landscape  
  • Develop consumer segmentation strategies that can be implemented across all digital marketing channels  
  • Developing customer acquisition, engagement and retention plans including strategy, goals, budgets and tactics 
  • Create persistent, consistent, and frequent stories that can create a lasting impression among different target audiences 
  • Create and maintain a favourable brand and public image by communicating accomplishments and opinions through PR channels 
  • Plan digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising 
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs 
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely 

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn 
  • Able to understand the story behind data and processing figures with spreadsheets  
  • Solid knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, Facebook Analytics) 
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Ads and Facebook campaigns (certification is considered as an asset) 
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing tools 
  • Knowledge of video storytelling 
  • Great communication skills 
  • Problem-solving mindset 
  • Good listener, able to respond to results and consumer research 
  • A sense of aesthetics with a love for great results and witty communication
