Storage Systems Limited, local leaders in the warehousing and intralogistics sector, are seeking to recruit a Racking and Shelving Senior Installer on a full-time indefinite basis, to join their growing team. The role would entail primarily leading a small team and assisting hands-on during Installation and dismantling processes various forms of light duty shelving and heavy- duty pallet racking for a wide range of clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Installing and dismantling Light weight shelving, Pallet Racking, Drive in Racking, Gravity flow racking, Mobile Shelving and Racking Systems, Cantilever Racking, Long span and Mezzanine structures.
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Helping out to make sure installation is carried out to manufacture specs (frame orientation, bracing pattern, row spacer locations, shimming, bolting etc)
• Making sure site is cleared and tidy on job completion
• Travelling to and from jobs
• Behave in a professional manner.
• The role will require lifting heavy items at times so being fit and healthy would be beneficial

Essential:

• B driving licence, C1 would be preferred
• Teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail
• Adherence to health and safety regulations
• Flexibility with working hours
• Flexibility with working days
• Comfortable working at heights

Desirable:

• Hold a forklift truck/scissor lift certification, if not training and certification will be provided
• Experience working with hand and power tools
• Experience working in a similar role
