Job Description

Overview

The Head of Procurement and Logistics is responsible for managing and coordinating all procurement, supply chain, and logistics activities across the group of companies. This includes ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, optimizing supply chain performance, maintaining cost efficiency, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

The role supports business units involved in vehicle sales, storage systems, and real estate development and management, ensuring strategic sourcing, effective supplier management, and efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Develop and implement group-wide procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.

• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

• Consolidate purchasing requirements across group companies to maximize volume discounts and reduce procurement costs.

• Ensure procurement compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and innovations.

• Collaborate with department heads to forecast procurement needs.

Logistics & Supply Chain

• Oversee logistics functions including transportation, warehousing, and distribution for all business units.

• Plan and coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely delivery and inventory optimization.

• Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and shipping processes, especially for vehicles and storage systems.

• Optimize delivery routes, freight costs, and 3PL relationships.

• Ensure proper storage and handling of goods, including vehicle parts and property materials.

Inventory Management

• Implement inventory control systems and maintain optimal stock levels across business units.

• Monitor and report on inventory performance and variances.

• Work with warehouse managers to improve space utilization and reduce wastage.

Supplier Management & Compliance

• Maintain an approved supplier list with proper documentation and performance evaluations.

• Enforce ethical procurement practices and sustainability initiatives where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and trade regulations relevant to vehicles, construction materials, and storage systems.

Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare regular reports on procurement savings, supplier performance, logistics KPIs, and risk factors.

• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts related to supply chain activities.

Key Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

• Professional certification (e.g. CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) is preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in procurement and logistics, ideally within a multi-sector environment.

• Experience handling procurement and logistics in automotive, construction/real estate, or industrial equipment industries is highly desirable.

• Proven negotiation and contract management skills.
