Responsible for reaching financial targets whilst ensuring that the customer experience is beyond satisfactory and that the individual team members are being developed and engaged on an ongoing basis through multiple initiatives. 

Key Result Areas & Accountabilities 

• Day-to-day team leadership to achieve sales targets 

• Achieve sales revenue and profitability targets 

• Drive conversions with timely follow-ups on leads and quotes 

• Oversee the processing of orders and deliveries 

• Attend to customer test drives and provide quotes 

• Communicate regularly with Sales, Call Centre and Marketing teams about updates and offers 

• Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure alignment on vehicle promotional campaigns 

• Collaborate with procurement on stock orders according to customer demands 

• Ensure support for the sales team from other departments for customer satisfaction 

• Ensure consistency of vehicle and aftersales prices across databases and company website 

• Monitor valeting standards for sold vehicles 

• Coordinate with the fleet team for garage maintenance and decide on rectifications levels 

• Oversee the maintenance of demo cars for test drives 

• Monitor trade-in valuations to align with processes 

• Oversees reserved stock management and ensure adherence to SLAs 

• Ensure the showroom meets company standards 

• Handle customer complaint resolutions 

• Approve team timesheets and leave requests 

• Calculate and confirm commission with the sales team 

• Adhere to and enforce health and safety protocols 

• Ensure proper start-up and shut-down procedures are followed 

• Carrying out any other duties as instructed by one’s superior 

Essential requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft applications 

• Minimum of 3 years sales experience 

• Excellent communication both verbally and written in Maltese and English 

• Possession of clean driving license 

• Strong automotive market knowledge and experience are essential 

• Sound Product Knowledge
