Job Title: Business Development Executive – Racking & Material Handling Solutions
Role Purpose: Drive business growth by managing key projects in racking and material handling, developing new accounts, and maintaining strong client relationships
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain relationships with key client accounts
• Proactively find and follow up on new business opportunities
• Manage the sales process from initial contact to closing deals
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and solutions to clients
• Visit customer sites to understand needs and recommend solutions
• Negotiate terms and pricing with customers
• Keep accurate client and project information in the CRM
• Work closely with the sales manager on strategy and reporting
• Share knowledge with team members to support growth.
• Stay informed on industry developments and new technologies.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of technical solutions or willingness to learn quickly
• Experience in B2B sales, ideally in warehouse, storage, or material handling solutions
• Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits
• Familiarity with the use of CAD software will be considered an asset
• Familiarity with tendering process and submissions will be considered an asset
