To drive the full Recruitment life cycle for the Group by developing meaningful relationships with all internal stakeholders and managing their expectations to successfully identify, recruit and hire top talent. Expected to hold a strong understanding of business objectives and translate these into strategic and sustainable Recruitment actions.
Key Result Areas & Accountabilities
Partner up and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand and assist with recruitment needs, develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and specifications;
Manage the full pre-boarding and on-boarding cycle for all new hires;
Actively source potential candidates through online channels including but not limited to, the issuing of vacancies on job boards, social platforms, company website and liaising with recruitment agencies when required;
Acknowledge all received applications, screening CVs, conducting initial interviews and setting up interviews for internal stakeholders;
Reference checking, making job offers, sending welcome packs, creating profile on internal system, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure hardware and desk space is organised, payroll info is logged etc etc..
Schedule and host induction meetings for all new hires;
Responsible for ensuring that all rejected candidates receive personalised rejection correspondence;
Actively look for ways to improve the recruitment process and ensure that the experience we give to candidates/hires is of high standard;
Hold pulse check meetings with all new hires to ensure that they have settled in well and suggest improvement areas;
Source and manage apprenticeship initiatives;
Provide effective interviewing training to hiring managers;
Liaise with the Marketing team to create and drive Recruitment initiatives through employer branding efforts;
Keep abreast with departmental and group changes;
Pro-actively and professionally represent the Company in the external market as an employer of choice for candidates (ex: attending career and job fairs);
Other duties as may be required from time to time.
Knowledge & Experience
4 years+ experience as a Recruiter in a fast-paced environment
Solid written and verbal communication skills in Maltese and English
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office tools
Good knowledge of Maltese Employment law
Experience in recruiting for varied sectors
Experience with sourcing techniques
Eagerness to learn and develop
Strong people skills with sound judgement
Team player with a can-do attitude
