Job Description

Overview

The Project Manager – Operations is responsible for leading and coordinating projects that improve sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, customer experience, reporting accuracy, and process standardisation across the sales function. 

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead sales-related projects from initiation through implementation.

• Develop project plans, milestones, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.

• Monitor project progress and risks, ensuring delivery within agreed deadlines.

• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external suppliers where required.

• Provide regular project status reports to management. 

Sales Process & Operational Excellence

• Review and optimise sales processes to improve efficiency and customer experience.

• Ensure standardised operating procedures are implemented across all sales channels.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales function.

• Support the rollout of new sales programmes, products, and business initiatives. 

CRM & Data Management

• Ensure effective utilisation of CRM systems and sales tools.

• Maintain data quality, reporting integrity, and sales pipeline visibility.

• Develop and monitor sales dashboards and KPIs.

• Provide insights and recommendations based on performance trends.

Performance Reporting & Analytics

• Analyse sales performance, conversion rates, customer trends, and operational metrics.

• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for management.

• Identify opportunities to improve forecasting and reporting accuracy. 

Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, sales operations, business analysis, or commercial operations.

• Strong knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, Dynamics, or similar).

• Experience managing cross-functional projects and change initiatives.

• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
