Job Description

Overview

The Role

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including drafting job descriptions and person specifications, advertising vacancies, screening applications, shortlisting candidates, conducting interviews, and supporting the selection process.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand workforce requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes to ensure a positive and engaging employee experience.
  • Identify training and development needs in collaboration with departmental managers.
  • Plan, coordinate, and administer internal and external training programmes across the Group.
  • Deliver employee training sessions and induction programmes as required.
  • Monitor training attendance, effectiveness, and employee development progress.
  • Research and apply for training grants and EU-funded employee development schemes.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment, training, and employee records within the HR system.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices throughout the recruitment and training processes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, employee development, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and drive HR initiatives to successful completion.
  • Assist the Head of HR with HR projects and other duties as required.

Requirements

  • A qualification in a related field will be considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in recruitment, or a general HR role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment methodologies and interview techniques.
  • Experience in coordinating and delivering training programmes would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of local employment legislation is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Maltese and English.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • People-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
