Job Description

Overview

The Position

The Bodyshop Assembler will be responsible for: 

Refit and assemble vehicle components, including bumpers, trims, lights, mirrors, mouldings, and interior parts after repair and paint processes.

• Ensure all parts are correctly aligned, secured, and functioning according to manufacturer specifications.

• Inspect repaired vehicles before delivery to identify and rectify any fitment issues.

• Work closely with panel beaters, painters, estimators, and quality controllers to ensure efficient workflow.

• Conduct basic functional checks on electrical components after refitting.

• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect parts to the relevant supervisor.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

• Follow company procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and health and safety regulations.

• Support quality control inspections and ensure vehicles are delivered in excellent condition.

• Carry out other bodyshop-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Productive Lead to support operational requirements.

 

The Requirements

• Experience in automotive body shop assembly/refitting is preferred.

• Technical automotive qualification is an advantage.

• Valid driver's licence is a must.
